At Wellness Place we are committed to helping everyone cancer warrior in our community.

What does the Wellness Place do? 

At Wellness Place, we give compassionate support and FREE resources to individuals, their families and caregivers through their cancer journey, from diagnosis to survivorship, for those residing in Chelan, Douglas, Grant and Okanogan counties. We are confidential, resourceful, and here to help!  

For cancer patients in current treatment

  • Gas cards - to ease the costly burden of travel to and from treatments

  • Wigs - for women and/or men who lose their hair due to chemotherapy and radiation  

  • Support - our private Facebook support group offers a safe place to share and support 

  • Nutritional drinks - to supply nutrients when eating becomes too difficult due to nausea and pain

What is your service area?

We help cancer patients in treatment and survivors who reside in Chelan, Douglas, Okanogan, and Grant Counties.

 

Do I have to qualify to have services provided by you?

If you are in current treatment and need gas cards, lodging, wigs, or nutritional drinks, we will require a form completed by your medical professional(s) who are part of your cancer treatment program.  A new form will be required each year. Please call us at 509-888-9933 with any questions regarding the required form. 

 

Is there age restrictions?

We help anyone who could use our assistance – regardless of age or income.
